The TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor deletes "lightshow" slide shows, so you can only edit articles containing slide shows with the WYSIWYG editor turned off (same goes for "lightbox" images).

The WYSIWYG editor doesn't switch on and off when editing an article that has been previewed.
